Organizational Overview

Since 2013, The GO Fund has identified relevant barriers to finishing the task of evangelizing the world — today’s preeminent financial hindrance being educational loan debt. Two-thirds of college students graduate with $32,000 of student debt , which is an especially limiting factor for those wanting to pioneer a mission to the unreached. The GO Fund partners with mission agencies to make student loan payments for missionaries once they are on the mission field. We have approved 25 families for the student debt repayment program to date, and have a vision to approve 125 by 2020.

Position Overview

As the Administrative Assistant, you will report to the Executive Director and will be responsible to assist with executive, developmental, and general administrative tasks and functions. The Administrative Assistant will ultimately ensure the efficient operation of the office.


General Administration

  • Responsible for general phone, mail, and email correspondence
  • Oversees purchase of supplies and equipment
  • Deposits checks and cash at the bank
  • Runs payroll twice per month
  • Processes and enters receipts into Quickbooks accounting system
  • Processes IRS and CA tax payments
  • Processes end of year forms, such as W2s for team members
  • Maintains orderly files in team Dropbox database
  • Manages onboarding for incoming team members
  • Manages vendor payments
  • Other duties as assigned

Executive Assistance

  • Assist Executive Director and team with day-to-day tasks
  • Maintains office schedules and meeting planning
  • Assists with administration at board meetings and selection committee meetings
  • Corresponds with board of directors to arrange meetings, send pre-meeting information, and follow-up with information after meetings

Development Assistance

  • Maintains up-to-date information on CRM database (Kindful)
  • Coordinates training for staff on CRM database
  • Updates donor payment information
  • Maintains schedules for special and general events
  • Participates in donor communication & contact
  • Enters pledges into database from special events and regular donations
  • Prepares meeting reports and expense reports
  • Assists during fundraising events as needed


  • Preferred 3-5 years of related administrative experience
  • Preferred Bachelor’s degree
  • Preferred experience with a CRM database (customer relationship management)
  • Excellent written, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Must have thorough knowledge of Business English, Arithmetic, general office methods procedures and practices
  • Must be able to proofread grammar, spelling, and punctuation with a high degree of accuracy
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook
  • Familiar with the rules for recording meeting minutes, or willing to learn
  • Must have a sound knowledge and ability in business correspondence
  • Must have excellent telephone courtesy knowledge and experience
  • Must be able to handle multiple interruptions and adjustments to priorities throughout the day
  • Able to set priorities, organize workload, handle multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines

This is a part-time position. The hourly rate will be between $15 to $20 per hour, depending on experience. The scheduled hours will be fixed from 8 AM - 12 PM, Monday through Friday. Additional hours may be available.
